Our wonderful store on Main, St., is gone! Am I the last to know? I saw the empty store today while driving down Main Street....The owner is a wonderful, educated, interesting guy who we were lucky to attract from Montreal....what happened? dg

The same fate as any locally owned record store. Out of business. You are the last to know, he closed on January 1st.
He said it was time to move on and pursue other interests.

I am sorry you didn't see the sign he posted in the window from January till early March thanking the community for 30 years of business and why he was ready to move on. I am sorry to see him go especially after seeing Backdoor Records close over 2 years ago in Cotati. It seams The Last Record store on Mendocino Ave in Santa Rosa has manifested truth to its name!

you missed the sale. after family changes (son off to college and breakup of marrage), the owner decided to move to israel.
