I don't know where this belongs exactly, it's not political and has nothing to do with food or yoga but I was involved in shooting a music video at Fantasty Studios last year and the video finally got released. It's a cover of Jessica (Allman Brothers) -I never really liked the original all that much but these guys are terrific and I just wanted to share it. I was on the camera and lighting crew. -Cal

The funny thing is that the whole reason to be at Fantasy was to record the drum track in a great room. Nothing else was audible in the room while we were shooting. All of those mics were for the drum set and all of the other instruments were sent to amplifiers in little closets where only the control room could hear them and send them out to our headphones. That's show biz!
BTW, I've never seen a microphone collection like that in my life, all brought in by engineer Mark Needham.
Some truly ancient, some looked like little birdcages...really fun.

note to praksys- Yeah you're right, they were great, I just heard it too many times in too many bars...you know?
