IFA on Promiscuous Sex:
I'd hate to sound like a nagging parent, but I wanted to send you all this message to pass on to your children and other loved ones.
Recreational sex can be very destructive. It can lead to std's, unwanted pregnancies, and other troubles.
There are Ese Ifa which describe such situations.

The sacred Odu Ifa Oyeku Ofun says:
Iporo o seje
A difa fun Adesetan omobirin ona Iworo
O pogun oko sile alara
O pogbon oko soke Ijero
O paaadota oko sile Elewii
Omo bobo o ye
Won a ni eyin naa e se ya fokuu

Translation:
Iporo o seje
Cast Ifa for Adesetan, a lady along the way to the city of Iworo
She killed twenty husbands in the city of Ara
She killed thirty husbands in the city of Ijero
She killed fifty husbands in the city of Ewi
Somebody like that should be stayed aloof from
People blamed one another saying why do not you run away from death

The woman was going from town to town collecting many "husbands". As she visited them all, one by one she infected them with a sexual disease. she killed dozens of men in each of the cities she lived in.
Ifa concludes by telling us: "Somebody like that should be stayed aloof from
People blamed one another saying why do not you run away from death"
The same will be said for men who practice such ways, they should be "stayed aloof from".
May Ifa protect us. Ase o

yet again, they always blame the women. Though I can't think of a culture where the women actually are the promiscuous ones...

Hello.
Actually this is a verse of Ifa called Ese Ifa, where the person (or animal, or thing even) coming for divination may be described as a man or a woman. in this case in the Ese Ifa it was a woman who had come for divination, but if a man comes for divination and this verse is revealed by Ifa, the story from this verse would be applicable to the man as much as it is to the woman described in the verse. Ifa sees all humans as human. Men and women may have our physical differences, but spiritually we are going through the same cycle.
Hope this helps.
Blessings, Ire O
