THANKS to all those who wrote so far, and I
just realized some of you, like myself, may
want to bring a STICK to poke the hole from a
standing-up position, rather than bending knees.
I have used wood, bamboo poles and a copper pipe
on different occasions. POKE the hole, push the
pole forward, drop seed into the hole, lift pole
and wiggle, dirt rolls in and covers the seed.

(Original posting follows below.)

Hi friends and farmers near and far,

I wrote a while back that I was planting the
"Three Sisters" North American survival guild
as a personal project this year.

See the very first attempt I make of a website:

www.ThreeSistersPlanting.info

This Sunday, at 10am we will plant BLUE CORN
in a huge beautiful field. If you would like
to come be a part of this ceremony and potluck,
please write me back, either through the website
or reply to this email.

We will bless the field with the Corn Song, in the
four directions, then walk and plant the field in
unison.

Give your name, email and phone number, and I will
either call you or email you directions, whichever
you need. CARPOOLING would be excellent, and have
ONE person email me if possible!

Sunscreen, hats and water bottle are essential.

Peace and planting,
Jane
PS I know some of you are too far away, so please drink some water
and say a prayer for the corn and for seven generations of the future.
