I dropped AT&T years ago, and they called me regulalrly solciting my business for almost two years. Eventually I took them to small claims court, and WON (they did not honor the "Do Not Call" list). . Now, years later, they have bought both the landline company I switched to as well as the cell phone company. After my recent, exhausting experience with AT&T, "The Dysfunctional", I just cannot tolerate doing business with them. I do not live my life this way, or associate with people who do business as they do. . Does anyone know of an alternative to AT&T for WEst County? I'd like to keep my phone number, which I've had for 40 years....thanks, dustyg

Dusty,

Sonic.net's Fusion package provides DSL, landline and free long distance calling. I'm happy with it. Some of my money goes to AT&T indirectly, because Sonic.net buys access from them. But I don't have to deal with AT&T. And some of my money is being spent locally.

(And according to C.F. serving to further the nefarious plans of the 1% to kill 90% of us via "Chemtrails" and such. Course, it's our Saurian Overlords deep in the earth that concern me the most.)

Not everyone lives close enough in to qualify for this. Customer Service at Sonic.net will be able to tell you if you do.

An good alternative is Credo Mobile / Sprint. They contribute a portion of their profits to great causes (used to be called Working Assets?) and they are a huge liberal left wing political machine that actually does get attention and affect change. Check em out.

I believe you could try Comcast.
Regardless of who you switch to, you can still keep your existing phone number.

This is not accurate Miles; and I do not appreciate it.

Please read Day Nurse's recent post on Re: Anyone else experiencing long lasting health symptoms lately? (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/showthread.php?p=150309#post150309)

There are more than one reasons for the various types of aerial spraying to control the weather and climate. I never once made a reference to it being in conjunction with deliberately killing us; though others have.

Adding more toxins to our air, and thus water and soil, will of course have the consequence of premature deaths, and additional suffering; by adding to our bodies' already overloaded burden of harmful synthetic materials.

I do think there is something wrong with the folks who refuse, or are unable to notice the unnatural changes in our sky; or dig into any of the evidence presented with an open, scientific perspective.

Based on observations; I believe both Dane Jasper and Mark Inman are in league with the deliberate disinformation camp. This is sad, because I previously had a lot of respect for them.

I have another conflict; while AT&T are enablers of the agenda of the top10%; using Sonic is not really much of a choice to withdraw support of them. Sonic has given both good, and deplorable customer service to me; so I no longer recommend them. Too bad our options for phone and ISPs are so limited.

BTW, I welcome anyone's editing suggestions. I'm sure I make lots of errors; and would like to know when you spot them.

:waccosun: Also, I don't mind criticism, or jokes at my expense; so long as it's accurate.

Thank you,

I've been working on detaching from AT&T, mostly because they have supported right wing politics for years now. Sonic.net can replace your phone and internet services, they are based in Santa Rosa. If anyone has feedback on Sonic I"d be curious how good they are. Lisa

I switched from AT&T to Sonic's Fusion service over a year ago and I couldn't be happier. Landline and DSL, $38 + all the taxes that must be added. I kept my original phone number, no problem. Awesome service, awesome customer service.

As far as cell phones go, if you're not in a contract there's a lot of options. If you have an iphone, there's Verizon and Sprint.

Good luck. As soon as my cell phone contract is up, I'm ending life with AT&T.
