I am visiting a friend in So CA near an Air Force Base today and we have noticed an inordinate amount of strong sonic booms.
It seems that whenever that happens there follows not too long after, a significant military action somewhere.
The last time I noticed such an inordinate amount of strong sonic booms, was preceding the "Serge" in Iraq; (of course I do not live here and do not really have a 24/7-365 knowledge of all that to compare today's Sonic Booms with).
Anyway, I hope that Iran is not going to do something (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/iran/8992227/Iran-ramps-up-warning-to-US-over-Strait-of-Hormuz.html) in the Strait of Hormuz (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strait_of_Hormuz) that will cause more tension in the region and gas prices here to go through the roof!... ...That would really SUCK!
