HELLO DANCERS,
I am on another BB... actually a FB group for the Mendocino area..this just came across and I thought I would put it out to this dance community here.. I am sure there are a few committed dancers that may like to travel to Ukiah for a class... and I wouldn't want you to miss out.
"Hello fellow dancers! I am currently in India studying Odissi with the awe inspiring Colleena Shakti! I have been talking with her about her coming to Mendo county this summer to do a workshop! Her expertise is in Odissi (classical Indian), Rajashtani (Indian gypsy and folk), and Indian/Tribal fusion belly dance. I just want to put this out there to see what kind of interest there is and what the preferred style of dance people would be into. I would probably be holding the workshop on the coast, but if there is enough interest, I might be able to set one up inland as well. For those of you who don't know who Colleena Shakti is, look her up...she is truly amazing"
