Does anyone know what they are doing with the property where Thai Issan used to be in Sebastopol? I have noticed the construction over that past several months and was curious.

The new building will be the new home of Peking Chef, our favorite Chinese and take out restaurant. We love their Hot & Sour soup & their Garlic Eggplant (sauteed, not fried). It is owned by Steve & Wendy who also own Sushi Tozai where we wish we could afford to eat more often.

They're great folks ... wish them all the best. The Hot/Sour soup is definitely the best we've had here since HongKong. Just wish they would have dry fried rice noodles on the menu. : ]

I was told that it is going to be a high-end steakhouse - same owner as you indicated.
