Need help with PG&E

Hello generous community,
I am humbled by the need to ask for help. I have fallen behind on my PG&E and Garbage bills and cannot make the payments. Unfortunately I am unemployed and selling my belongings to make ends meat. None of the Charities will help because I can't prove my income or lack thereof(Ebay sales page deemed insufficient). I have a disabled roommate who cannot go without heat. If you can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I am not asking for cash, but if there is someone or someones willing to help I can give my account number for a payment straight to the company. I spoke with PG&E again. They said if I can pay $175 by Thursday, they will add the remainder to my payment plan. I anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. Sounds like a very bad situation you and many others are in. Did you try HEAP? My understanding is that they'll make a one-time payment at a time like this. Also, there might be latitude, or even a legal right for a disabled person not to be left without a necessary utility.

I encourage you to talk with PGE, to see if they will arrange a payment plan. They did this for a friend of mine in a similar situation. Hopefully you are on the Care program. I did get help from HEAP one time, but it did require a few pages of paperwork, and proof of income.

You might try listing some things that you have to sell, here on WaccoBB.

Call 211, and see if you can get some suggestions, especially in regard to your disabled roommate needing heat.

You don't mention if you're getting any social services help, such as Food Stamps, or if your inability to provide income verification is affecting that also.

In the meantime, it's a good idea to list your account number and amounts due for those who may be able to donate. And please continue to communicate with the Wacco about your situation.
