Greetings Dear One,

Would you or someone you love appreciate quality companionship and/or moderate assisted living? Wonderful!
I am a 31 year old female (mother of one 9 1/2 year old delightful girl). I have my background in person-centered psychology, relationship development, counseling, communications, conflict mediation, community building, companionship for elders and children, and effective compassionate listening. I truly care.

I would like to offer my services as a companion and/or assistance to you or someone you love.
Let us consider things you need done or may enjoy doing. This may be recreational activities, procedural processes, practical tasks, emotional support and gentle counseling, familial support (being in professional and loving communication with family members).

Some examples of recreational activities (and you may have your own) would be: make a photo album, make a scrap book, my reading to you out of your favorite poetry or book, going for a walk, visiting the museum, viewing beautiful art, tending to the garden, seeing an opera or a movie, playing games, writing letters that need writing, transcribing stories you want to tell and later share on paper, any project that you've been wanting to get to and are ready, the list goes on...

Some examples of practical tasks may be but are not limited to: Light housekeeping, bathing the animals, running errands, medicine/pill putting in box (they're so tiny!) cleaning out the closets, fixing things (I am handy), taking things in to be repaired (like your watch, dvd player, computer, lamp,)

Some examples of procedural assistance may be: calling billing or insurance companies to straighten things out (I am computer savvy with an AA in Business Admin), online researching of particular interests or necessary applications, research information (I consider my self a self-taught scholar, loving ongoing learning and would gladly research any field of interest you may want to explore, print things up and we can talk about them if you'd like).

Emotional Support means I am feeling/understanding what you're experiencing while offering unbiased listening. This is huge! I provide gentle counseling and am receptive to your feedback. Conversations and deep listening, quiet time and contemplative silence, intuition and a willingness to go with you to places inside are all qualities of alturism and my service to humanity.

Currently I live on a beautiful property in the outskirts of Sebastopol caring for an elderly gentleman in many of these same fashions. There is a deep appreciation for our unique relationship as well as conversations around the ins and outs of life's journeys. Together we share in community on the land with 4 other tenants on our land are all over the ages of 70, and a younger hard working couple. Together we participate with 10 others in a weekly spiritual support group with people of various ages, backgrounds, educational decrees, and spiritual philosophies. We have been meeting for 1 year and this is my foundation for community, offering resources and extending my self on behalf of family, community, and human development.

I value companionship and am available Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 2:30 pm and some weekends. We could do a scheduled routine or a flexible schedule, both work for me. I just ask for some contractual agreement. The hours are based on my daughter's school schedule and can be extended. Should we want to pursue further engagements, as long as you would be comfortable with my daughter accompanying us after 2:30 or on some weekends. She's a hoot! (very friendly, outgoing, and comfortable with adults). We could take the (grand) kids out for a day! (That requires a lot of energy...!)

Thank you for reading this. Due to the sensitivity of these services, I would like to gently note that while my services are offered for a fee, any love or relationship developed between us will be timeless and priceless. 15% of proceeds go towards scholarship funds for 'Healing Our Future' 501 (c) or the specialty programs at my daughter's school, which ever you choose.

Have a lovely day.

Sincerely,
