We have been in contact with all of the major broadcast networks with press releases about the Petition. These include ABC, CBS, CNBC, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, PBS, and NPR. The news cycle moves quickly and time is of the essence, so act now if you have access. No surprise, we are not getting much traction with national broadcast media but it’s still early in the game. We need help with folks who have relationships with major FOX and MSNBC show hosts, among other highly rated news and talk sources.

Interesting New Developments
MoveOn.Org is going to promote our Petition to their entire base. They are planning to release a “base hit” mass email to over a million subscribers. This could happen today (Friday) or Monday, but the exact release date is not guaranteed. MoveOn is very pleased with results of tests they’ve done on gaining new signatures via their base.
Copycat petitions are popping up elsewhere. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Additional petitions asking for Michael Taylor’s removal from FDA have garnered close to 150,000 signatures.
People in Canada and other countries are expressing the desire and wishing to share knowledge about how to bring the public together to oppose BioTechnology companies’ encroachment and government/regulatory corruption.
Hispanic Americans are asking for resources in Spanish and hoping for coverage of these issues on Spanish-Language media.

We still need folks who have relationships with media to promote coverage of the story. Grass roots promotion is just as important. Email us with subject PRESS RELEASE and let us know what you have in mind.
We need a compilation of all Shareholder Actions brought before Monsanto (Ticker MON) in the past decade and what the results of these actions were.
We are seeking a listing of all “5% or greater owners” of Monsanto shares. This includes institutions, mutual funds, and private shareholders.
We’re asking everybody who writes to us to permit us to share their comments publicly. We’re compiling private comments. Virtually everyone we’ve asked agrees to this request.
We need help reaching and enrolling the Spanish Speaking population.
