Corporate owned radio has gone downhill lately.

I am hooked on public affairs & educational radio broadcasting.I prefer KPFA to all the other radio stations.

I also listen to KQED, KRCB, and other public radio stations as well.

But the corporate owned radio stations have gone downhill lately.

960 AM, previously called "Green 960" now airs conservative/right wing and finance/investment talk shows 7 hours a day.

It seems that the CEOs and managers of Clear Channel (the parent company) don't care how many people they are upsetting or losing with this rash move!

After all, this station had a progressive talk or information format since either 04 or 05 (in the SF bay area).

There aren't many stations on the dial with any content that is left of center.

There are always intelligent & kind people who send thoughtful responses when I post my comments on Waccobb!

Be well :waccosun:

With the vast number of progressive minded people here; it is a shame that the corp media does not reflect that. Maybe too much truth was being told on Green 960, and folks were coming out of their slumber to wise up.
