Ya know the one
If it aint one thing it's another
Well...it started with
If it aint one thing
Its your mother.

then a wordsmith friend recently added to it

If it aint one thing
Its your mother.
could be a sister or a brother
but if its still a bother
its definitely father.

My favorite bumper sticker was from many years ago:

I still miss my Ex...
But my aim is improving!

Not the nicest sentiment in the world, but it took me about an hour to stop laughing!
I don't know if I'd find it as funny now, but perhaps you will....

Got one to share?

My all-time favorite mean-spirited bumper sticker, seen on a car with numerous Christian stickers:

My God's not dead...
Sorry about yours!

This is sort of like a Dorothy Parker quote - my mother's maiden name is Parker - so who knows? Six degrees of indignation?!.. and yes, I made it up:

"Men are just like clothes; we're always taking them on and putting them off!"

I also like:

"Honk If You Love Jesus - "

Bastardized in Santa Fe to :

"Jeez If You Love Honkus"

...or how about? -

"Just Leave the Driving to Bastards (and Bitches)! Dog is my Co-Honkus" - o.k.o.k... trailing off into delirium now --

I had a friend who drove an really dented dirty station wagon and his bumper sticker read "Don't laugh, your daughter may be riding in this car". Some more - "Against abortion? Don't have one" or back in 2004 " Vote for Bush, you get Dick"

I've always liked the bumper sticker:
"Where are we? And what are we doing in this hand basket?"

But, all time fav is:
"The Christian Right is neither."

I love this quote! I wrote it down from a Brazilian movie I watched on Netflix: God is Brazilian, in which God is taking a vacation and is on a road trip to find a saint to sit in for him for a couple of weeks. Not a lot of action in the flick, but God meets a young man who trips with him, and at one point he says: "Don't worry, everything ends well. When it's not well, it's because it's not the end yet." I thought it was interesting that the young man was saying this to God instead of the other way around! That's optimism....

The only one I ever liked enough to put on our touring van -- "Stay Calm, Be Brave, Wait for the Signs" -- was from the Dead Dog Cafe Comedy Hour. Look them up on Wikipedia. -- Elizabeth

Fairly older one that was on a truck I bought and quickly removed in self-preservation---

"The Universe rearranges itself to accommodate your picture of reality"
Now there's an astoundingly egocentric notion. :ucrazy:
