We're in Cordelia, right at the junction of I-80 and 680. The closest town is Fairfield. My email [email protected] ([email protected]) and the phone numbers are (707) 864-5477 (tel:%28707%29%20864-5477) (home) and (707) 486-8094 (cell). I'll also pay for spay/ neuter costs if that will help get them adopted. Thanks again for your help, I really appreciate it! Sue Pinkham

Subject: Looking for homes for my kitties

Hello,
I had written to you a couple of months back about 7 abandoned kittens I was trying to find homes for. At that time you didn't have any room but said you'd forward their pictures to some of your contacts. I appreciate your offer to help me out, and I actually did find homes for 3 of them with friends and family. That left us with 4, one of which was pregnant and had 4 kittens, bringing the total cat population in our house up to 14, eek!
When I wrote to you last time, my vet wouldn't spay the pregnant kitty as she was too far along, but said to just let her have the kittens and he'd find homes for them. Well, she had the kittens in my back bedroom closet and they are now 11 weeks old. When I asked the vet about finding homes for them he told me to make a poster and he'd put it up on the bulletin board. I'm kind of frustrated because the way he talked when the mom was pregnant made me think he already had people in mind to give them to. So.... I made posters and have put them up in a few of the vets offices locally, also Pet-Club and Petco, send their pictures in emails to friends, etc... but no calls so far. They're really adorable, playful, litter-box-trained... and are at the perfect age to make wonderful Christmas presents! They've been tested and are negative for feline leukemia and AIDS, and have had their first set of vaccinations. They're living in the back bedroom of my house with their mom and big sister. I let them out a couple times a day just to get the run of the house, but keep them separated from the other cats and dogs as the mother was pretty protective of the babies when they were little. It's been disruptive to say the least, which is ok with me, but my husband has finally had it. He said the kittens have to go. I don't want to take them to the pound and have been up all night crying.

I've attached their pictures to this email. There are 3 males- 2 red tabbies and a grey tabby, and 1 female- she's a little princess, a torbie (tortoiseshell like her mom and tabbie like her dad). If you could please take them, or know another rescue group or person that might be looking for kittens right now, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you so much,
Sue Pinkham
