ALL OUT THIS SATURDAY for Occupy Santa Rosa! PLEASE FORWARD!
We invite all of our community to come out this Saturday and join the ever-growing Occupy Santa Rosa movement! We are joining a national day of action to MOVE OUR MONEY out of the Wall St. banks, and into our local credit unions. This Saturday, November 5th, we need your help! Here's a run-down of what we have planned this Saturday:

8:30 a.m. Meet at City Hall, then set up Picket Lines in front of big Wall St. banks downtown (banks open at 9 am). We will have pickets in front of Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo, and Citibank. We will peacefully assemble and hand out information to customers, urging them to move their money into local banks and credit unions.

10:00 a.m. Rally at City Hall (pickets will be ongoing). There will be several short speakers, followed by a short march to re-enforce the picket lines at the banks. People will give testimonies about how they have been affected by foreclosures and other abuses by the big banks.

2 pm. Chase, Bank of America and Citibank will close for the day. The picket lines at these banks will all convene on Wells Fargo to form one massive protest there, until 6pm when they close. There will be music and speakers all throughout the day.

This Saturday we stand up against the banks that gambled with our money, crashed our economy, and made us pay the price. This Saturday we say ENOUGH! Please join us

in solidarity,

P.S. We've got a ton of exciting actions this week, so come on down and plug in to the movement!

Tuesday: Santa Rosa City Council will be debating whether or not to let the Occupy encampment stay. We need all of our supporters to turn out and pressure our local government to not evict this movement!

Wednesday: Our friends in Oakland have called for a GENERAL STRIKE! We will be carpooling to Oakland starting in the early morning. Please let me know if you'd like to join the carpool or if you can help drive.

Friday: Our allies in the local unions are organizing a "solidarity sleep-over" this Friday night. Come help us set up tents and join workers in standing up against the 1%!
