Hello,

I wanted to warn the community about a theft that occured this week at the Occidental Rd. trailhead. This is the trail that goes from Occidental Road to Graton. I was parked there on Tuesday evening and when I returned from my walk my window was smashed and some valuables were taken from my car. Please exercise caution when parking there. Do not leave valuables in your car. Report suspicious characters to the Sebastopol Police Dept.

Unfortunately, that has been happening a lot. I'm a runner and use the county trails often. Another spot that is very bad for break-ins is Summerfield Road, at the bridge near the entrance to the Waldorf school.
