As i did a couple of years ago, i'm asking anyone interested to tell me any time from now to the evening of 10/31
what i will be doing from 6 to 9 PM on Monday, 10/31, or to tell me during that time what i am doing or later that
night to tell me what i did during those hours. I don't know what i'll be doing at that time, so anyone who gets it right
ahead of time will be showing an indication of precognition. Anyone who gets it right during or after that time will be
showing an indication of telepathy. The deadline is 6 AM 11/1, because first thing in the morning on 11/1 i'll open
all the pertinent emails and start letting people know how much of it they got. I won't publish anyone's attempt if i
can't see any resemblance, and for those who get some aspect(s) of it right, i'll get their permission before posting
an announcement of their perceptiveness. In other words, this is a guaranteed no-lose situation.
Now, what i'd like participants to do is to click Reply Privately, delete the title of this post and type in "Don't open
'til 11/1!" In fact, because my email server shows the first few words of the email in the Inbox list, just to be on the
safe side, type in six or seven words unrelated to your perception. Have fun! I will.

Cute idea, Moon.

Here are a couple of suggestions to make it a better test of psychic powers:

1. Instead of a 3-hour range, during which you may be doing dozens of different things, thus making it fairly likely that someone could non-psychically guess one of your activities just by chance, specify a time, say 7 PM Pacific Time, so that you'll only be doing one or two things.

2. To further decrease the likelihood that someone will guess your activity through dumb luck, you should either:
A) Be doing an unusual activity (e.g., cleaning a gun, carving vegetables into flower shapes, writing sonnets, etc.). More common activities (eating, reading, watching TV, etc.) will not be a good test of psychic powers because they're too likely to be guessed through pure luck.
OR, B) Be doing something more common, but require guesses to be very specific to be considered hits. For instance, "Eating" would not count as a hit; they'd have to know you were eating steamed chard and squash for it to count. Likewise, "Reading" is not a hit, but "Reading a book about tree frogs" would be.

I'll be interested to hear your results. You mentioned having done this a couple years ago. Did you design it tightly enough to get trustworthy results and, if so, what results did you get?

I could probably do this with a family member, some more than others, but I doubt if I could do it with you. I don't even know what you look like.
My friends and family don't question my intuitive abilities anymore, but my sphere is either small with people I'm close to (especially mother and daughter) or often times since there are so many people reading the PD before I get up, I will dream about the headlines.

I've got good intuition but it seems to run more within certain parameters, not surprisingly.
The simple word "Moon" will probably not establish any connection for me.
If I remember to, I will try your test for fun on that date, but I won't expect much success (but then I don't claim to be a pro).

Oh, and just as an aside, I remember reading someone's test of psychic abilities and just laughing because it was so linear and counter-intuitive. That was not how my stuff worked at all. I thought, let me set up a test for my way of thinking, then we might see something.

I love your idea and it does sound familiar, I too would like to know what your results were like last year. Mindy
