Hello all,
I am trying to find a mess of flattened boxes as I am looking to cover some of my land for weed control/farming/building soil/etc. It is a rather large quantity I am looking for (1/2 and acre ish). I've called a few local markets but they don't really have what I need and the big box stores, so far, won't accommodate either. Also, the Meecham landfill can't help. Any suggestions?
Thanks

purchase some rolls of corrugated cardboard from a box/packaging manufacturer in Petaluma. They are in the yellow pages. Since it has not been used for shipping or holding things, it does not have labels and heaven knows what else on it.

It works great. Make sure you weedwhack or mow so that the surface is smooth and the cardboard lays down smoothly. roll it out and cover it with 3" of mulch.

I will have some after my moving sale tomorrow - call me at 829-1251. Fircrest always has some out front, and I would guess other supermarkets. I don't know about big quantities, though.

i like to get cardboard for sheetmulching at appliance store dumpsters, teevax and asiens usually have some. the boxes are big, the cardboard thick with little printing, and its easy to remove any tape, glue, staples and stickers, all of which will show up latter.

Asiens appliances on Piner has big boxes in their dumpster and don't mind you taking them.
