Have noticed alot of fruit goes unpicked and rots on the trees. there has been some interest with the community garden im with and some other food organizations to start a gleaning program in and around sonoma and petaluma could go farther if nessasary. im wishing to start small and test the waters. persimmons are high on the list. they freeze nicely and can be stored also pears are a consideration. if you have any info please pass it on to me...Will Ackley [email protected]

there was a fruit share going on some years ago, where people would list when they had excess and it would go out to everyone. i wish it was still going!
if you hear of some persimmons available, please pass on the information.
thank you!
