Resolution

[ChristmasCarla]

On the edge of desperation,
Waiting for that shoe to fall;
What will be the next frustration?
Which collector next will call?

How to change my situation;
How to save what things I own;
How to feed myself, my family;
Where to go if I'm alone.

At that point when ego fails me,
Letting go to let it be;
When what's left is to surrender,
That is when I start to see.

I see maybe, in the chaos,
With dark failures all about,
There exists a light that may go
To a place where things work out.

With no thought of how to get there,
Wanting just to do things right,
Through the mystery, I am aiming
Toward the resolution light.
