Friends,

Sorry for a second appeal, but I wanted to clarify what's happening in
Sebastopol and what is needed.

The Sebastopol Planning Commission approved the replacement of three
antennas with six new 4G network antennas on the downtown tower. I
only heard about this proposal an hour before it happened and two
people spoke to the planning commission, but they approved it.

4G networks are much more powerful than what is on the existing tower.
All of downtown, especially two story buildings (inc. Sebastopol
Charter School) are at risk for higher RF exposures. 4G is similar to
wi-max.

In order to file an appeal we need to raise $340 before next
wednesday. I will spend the hours to write and file the appeal and
take it to the city council meeting, but I need to know that others
care enough and don't want these new antennas downtown to help by
donating, or collecting donations for the filing fee. So far $10 has
been donated and $100 pledged.

Please let me know if you can help. I've set up a paypal/ credit card
online: https://emfsafetynetwork.org/?page_id=2127 (https://emfsafetynetwork.org/?page_id=2127)
or you can call me.

Thanks,

Sandi Maurer

one day i was driving somewhere in sebastopol and i'm certain i saw some kind of 'tower' or 'antenna' masquerading as a large tree. i'm sorry, i can't remember where but this has been occuring nationwide...if not globally...for some time. i'd just never seen one in person, only in pictures....

I have been something of a Luddite myself at times, but have learned the joys and profits of the world wide web - including the fostering of revolutions against despots. At one time people were afraid electricity in a house would produce miscarriages in women, and composers had to quit writing for the glass organ for the same groundless fears. I welcome 4G, but not smart meters. One doesn't mean the other - don't combine them to build support. It can simply mean better access for us all to that magnificent world out there. - The semi-Luddite
