Good that Ron Paul wants to end the wars. Promises, promises! Of course, if he would become president, it would not be up to him only. BUT, Ron Paul, along with his loco son, would be making war on the poor, working people, the so called "middle class," by taking away social safety nets, Social Security, Medicare, etc.

:2cents:Yes, I think that's referred to as; "War of attrition (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_of_attrition)".

Another Republican "battleground issue (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_war#Battleground_issues_in_the_.22culture_wars.22)" to add to the list in the (American) culture war (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_war) in place of the current wars, as referred (to), is not a good deal, would be harmful, destructive, and would have the potential to cause far more American casualties than all the 'wars' (some AKA "Police Actions") between (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_military_casualties_of_war)<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:PunctuationKerning/> <w:ValidateAgainstSchemas/> <w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>false</w:SaveIfXMLInvalid> <w:IgnoreMixedContent>false</w:IgnoreMixedContent> <w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText>false</w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText> <w:Compatibility> <w:BreakWrappedTables/> <w:SnapToGridInCell/> <w:WrapTextWithPunct/> <w:UseAsianBreakRules/> <w:DontGrowAutofit/> </w:Compatibility> <w:BrowserLevel>MicrosoftInternetExplorer4</w:BrowserLevel> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:LatentStyles DefLockedState="false" LatentStyleCount="156"> </w:LatentStyles> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if !mso]><object classid="clsid:38481807-CA0E-42D2-BF39-B33AF135CC4D" id=ieooui></object> <style> st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } </style> <![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 10]> <style> /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} </style> <![endif]-->the Vietnam war and now....
