A year or two ago one of the cats on our property had his tail injured so badly that it dragged lifelessly behind him. Fred, who adopted him, took him to a vet who tried to save the tail but eventually removed it. The vet said it looked like the tail had been caught in something. Sparky is now an attractive faux manx. Now another of our cats has a tail injury and is dragging a lifeless tail. Dashwood, the 2nd cat, is a very shy feral. Has anyone experienced this sort of thing? I am wondering what might be injuring our cats like this. Barrie
