Hello
my name is Derek and I just moved to the area. I'm looking to start a cover band of various different music including but not limited to White Stripes, the Strokes, Killers, Etc... Looking for talented musicians who can read music. I will put together packets of music for us to work on individually and then we'll get together and put it all together. I can play some guitar but would like to focus on mainly singing and promoting the band. I've helped other bands get their start, mainly Blue Turtle Seduction who are quickly gaining fame as they've done many festivals and played with bands such as the String Cheese Incident. I've also been a concert promoter in Lake Tahoe so i know a bit about the industry. Eventually i want us to play all kinds of music in all kinds of genres as well as some original stuff.
