anyone know the name of a community with stone lined ponds and movie night?

dear communitay,
a while ago, three years or more, i read about a local community who had acquired land with large ponds for swimming. they boasted a movie night and sounded like a sane, loosely organized but well guided group that was buying up land nearby and adjacent and living the good life nearby one another.
i am curious to know the name of this community and if they are still hosting community gatherings, such as movie night and if there are any openings there. any clues on my hunt would be appreciated
