Any drug and alcohol-free musicians out there who like to play rock, blues, R&B, etc in a sober environment? I'd like to start a monthly jam session and see what comes of it. Me: intermediate/advanced blues/rock guitarist/singer/drummer/songwriter, currently playing in The Endorphins, local cover band, 29 years in recovery. You: singers, guitarists, blues harpists, keyboards, drummers, horn players, anybody who loves to play but without the chemical baggage. I have an outdoor stage for when it's nice, a 12 ft yurt for smaller jams, and a large living room with a baby grand piano in it for when it's wet and cold. I have a modest drum set that I am willing to let anyone play (low-end and well-worn) I don't have a PA but may be able to borrow one.
