Of course, the solution is rather obvious.
The intent of the nation's Founders was to tax foreign imports, not American producers and products. That's a rather obvious way to keep productivity high and the cost of American goods low.
Who are the folks insisting we must tax, tax, TAX the employers in this nation to be more "fair"... and to whom?
By intentionally driving up the cost of American production (or forcing production such as oil drilling in the Gulf) out of this nation, they're achieving China's goal all right. As Obama put it, "we want to be their biggest customer". That was his excuse for killing their American competitors by executive decree. WTF??
