Help with FireFox needed

Hi,

I've noticed on this site that when the mouse hovers over a thread title (a posting) Firefox only shows the first 80 or so characters of the post as preview, whereas IE will show the first 400 or so characters. Anybody know how I can get Firefox to show the full preview?

In looking into this a bit more, Safari renders the hover more generously than Firefox (IE for Mac doesn't work at all), before truncating the text:

My hunch is that the size of the hoverbox is browser specific, though perhaps that can be overrided with CSS or javascript.
