"Gillian Longley, R.N. discusses her perspective on infant circumcision from her vantage point as a neonatal nurse." (Oct. 2010)

Ms. Longley talks about what doctors know about the sexual and protective functions of the foreskin (nothing), what they are taught about the ethical issues of removing healthy normal parts from patients who cannot provide informed consent (none), how much parents know about the mechanics of circumcision and what the baby is going to go through if they decide to avail themselves of this unethical cosmetic surgical "service" (little to nothing), how inadequate the "informed consent" process is (totally), and what parents know about foreskins and intact boys (not much and most of it is incorrect).

She also talks about the stress and strain of dealing with babies being violated and in pain on a daily basis.
