Hello All,
Miranda is a paraplegic chihuahua from a local shelter that probably would have been euthanized if my neighbor didn't rescue her. She was found by a busy highway near Yuba City. She was in heat and already paralyzed. She was picked up by a good samaritan on her way to Sonoma County.
We are looking for a long term foster/permanent home.
She cannot stay in her current foster home for very long.
She is very loving.
If you have any leads or you can help, please let me know right away.
Miranda comes with a donated "wheelchair" (pictured) and she can get around without one also.
Om Shanti

There is a wonderful 'rescue" in Sonoma County called Brighthaven where animals who are old or disabled are cared for and can stay for the rest of their life. Go to https://www.brighthaven.org to learn more. Also there are some great resources I just discovered through the following website: https://www.srdogs.com/
Good luck for the beautiful Miranda.
