Request for Songs
We are a small, local woman owned publishing company (www.EmeraldEarth.net) interested in compiling a collection of original songs to be sung either at the bedside of someone with a life threatening illness, or at a memorial service. They could include:
unaccompanied (a cappella) melodies sung in unison or with a simple harmony
spiritual, but not religion-specific
songs of comfort, forgiveness, gratitude, surrender, lullabies, blessing, etc. (in any voicing)
short chants that can be sung or hummed repeatedly as a form of meditation
If you have written an original song that you think is appropriate for our collection, send an email to [email protected] and include your name, address and phone number.
Please feel free to forward this to any friends who may have original songs to contribute.
