Celebration to Return Mary Magdalene and the Sacred Feminine to our time and culture. Traditionally, Mary Magdalene’s relics are paraded through the streets to honor her. For two thousand years there was an erroneous portrayal of who she was and for this reason we share on this day the story that has emerged that shows her as a way shower, as a teacher and enlighten being. According to the Bible Mary was asked by Jesus to spread the good news which that there is no death because she witnessed his resurrected light body. The word Gospel means “Good News”.
The relics of Mary Magdalene are housed in a crypt in the basilica in St. Maximin in Provence, France. Behind protective glass lies her blackened skull adorned with a red wig. On the Feast Day of St. Mary Magdalene on July 22nd, a procession carries her relics through Provence. Le Grotte de Marie Madeleine, the Cave of Solitude, can be found by climbing high up the hillside in the Forest of Baume. Here in seclusion is where she is said to have spent twenty-two years. Famed as both a prophetess and healer, she is now the patron saint of Provence.
Lifted up by the angels, we find that now more than ever, the uplifting of her message, her Gospel ( the Gospel of Mary Magdalene) her status creates a new story that has up lift us all. Her archetypal energies cover the spectrum from “repentant prostitute and public sinner” to a Saint.
We call the men…to help. The procession of men who understand that without the women in balance, standing shoulder to shoulder; in full recognition that we are spirit and we are one…both male and female.

As an Ordained Priestess, Christiane's work is devoted to spreading the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, especially as it is mirrored in A Course In Miracles. She lectures around the country teaching from these two texts. In 2001, Christy, as everyone knows her, was first introduced to a new story about Mary Magdalene. She became passionate about Magdalene and has traveled to England, Scotland and France studying and visiting many of the sacred sites devoted to Mary Magdalene.
She also honors Mother Mary as she had a profound and miraculous healing from the waters of the spring of the home of Mother Mary in Turkey, and is deeply grateful to her for the end of her suffering.

She also assists in celebrating a Eucharist service in the tradition of the Holy Order of Mary Magdalene with Elizabeth Kelly. She has performed dance rituals numerous times in the Temple of Isis and creates sacred altars.
In her continuing search for self-awareness, Ilona has found guidance in her dreams since 1969.
