Van Jones, hard-core Communist, engages in his usual verbal deceptions.

He claims a person is not Patriotic if they are rich and don't "give back" to America. In other words, if they earn money and are wealthy, they are not patriotic unless they allow others to take from them what they have earned. The American principle, however, is that if you strive to improve your life and "pursue happiness", nobody else is allowed to take that from you. It is YOURS.

The Founders of this nation crafted a government to be as small and unobtrusive as possible, with severely limited power. Clearly, Van Jones has no clue about that. He ridicules the very notion.

First responders? Reduction of government waste and wealth redistribution does not involved reducing national defense. What the heck is he talking about? Well, that's rather obvious. The Leftist strategy to increase taxation is to cut First Responders like police and fire departments, the services they are mandated to provide, rather than all the rest of the programs that they have created to drain our assets. If their tax-and-redistribute scheme is ever threatened, they cut first responders first to put the fear into us. That's just evil.

American principles start with individual liberty especially from government intrusion into our lives. The Patriot upholds this value. Van Jones does not.

Jones was the leader and founder of a radical group, the communist revolutionary organization Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, or STORM. Their manifesto states: "We agreed with Lenin's analysis of the state and the party," reads the manifesto. "And we found inspiration in the revolutionary strategies developed by Third World revolutionaries like Mao Zedong and Amilcar Cabral."

Van Jones the Communist is the least qualified to lecture us on Patriotism. He does not value your Liberty.
