A Club with a Mission...
Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped over 3 million people worldwide to become more effective communicators. It is our mission to help "men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening and thinking-vital skills that promote self-actualization, enhance leadership, foster human understanding and contribute to the betterment of mankind." Our club's Mission Statement is:
The purpose of Noon Toastmasters is threefold:
* to be the most nurturing & supportive Toastmasters Club in the area;
* to empower members to achieve their individual speaking goals; and
* to encourage them, as they develop their own unique voice & style.
WHEN: Tuesday, May 30th, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
WHERE: Round Table Pizza, 2065 Occidental Rd., Santa Rosa (Phone: 526-6565)
FORMAT: We will follow a format similar to our weekly meeting, with introductions, two prepared speeches, and "Table Topics" (1-2 minute impromptu speeches) with lunch!
