Keep an eye out for drunk drivers as well as the CHP! They will be out in force this weekend. This is a "Maximum Enforcement Period (https://www.chp.ca.gov/pdf/media/10-14.pdf)". They will be looking for anything and everything, including not having your seatbelt on. (The additional "Click It or Ticket" enforcement will extend through June 6th.) Have a fun and safe weekend! Summer is sure to begin eventually!

sooo, yesterday i saw a local LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) driving and talking on a phone...day before that saw one run a red light...i've seen others talking on phones and driving through intersections at high rates of speed...it's just me, but i like to see the LEOs practicing what they preach :)
p.s. be really careful on Guerneville Road from Marlow/Stony point to Mendocino. Folks run the red lights incredibly often. One red light runner (not a LEO) went through the intersection at least six seconds after the light had turned green (for us). i held my breath to see if anyone would have contact; thankfully, he made it through untouched. WHEW!!!! again :)
be safe out there!

If you don't drink and drive, you can see all the CHP's you want!

If you don't drink and drive, you can see all the CHP's you want!As long as you have your seat belt on, all lights working, don't exceed the speed limit, have a valid registration sticker, signal when needed, etc. All of which you should always do, of course, but you're more likely to get stopped for even a minor infraction this weekend.
