Just got the proposed modifications for the Smartmeter program. The proposed fees are not reasonable. I could read the meter myself and call-in monthly or they could estimate the bill and check the meter a couple of times a year. $20 extra dollars a month is financially abusive. Anything I can do to fight this? Anyone know if they're still going to try to charge me the one-time fee if I don't even have a smartmeter for them to remove?

thanks

Go to the following website: emfsafetynetwork.org. Right on the first web page is a place to file a complaint with the PUC. I did so this morning and recommend that anyone against SmartMeters do it as well.
