This is rather late notice, but the organization of Marin's first Grange is underway, and scheduled to begin this week. The Grange is organized state-wide and nationally, and has a presence in state legislatures. Their avowed purpose this year is to address the GMO crisis. The organizational meeting is being held in Kentfield, and those who come together for this purpose that evening will have their first year's dues waived. Bob McFarland, director of the California Grange will be at the location (private home) in Kentfield April 6, 5:30 p.m. The person to contact is Ginger, at 456-2849. Or email me and I will send you the address and how to get in: [email protected].

How wonderful! The Grange is also experiencing a renaissance in Sonoma County. See our article written for WaccoBB.net about that here (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/showthread.php?77800-The-Sebastopol-Agrarian-Grange-Flourishes&p=130825#post130825).
