Dr. Jane Katra holds a Ph.D. in Public Health from the University of Oregon where she taught in the 1980's.Dr. Katra has also practiced as a spiritual healer for 36 years, after receiving instructions in a near-death experience.
She is listed in Marquis' Who's Who of American Women, and is the author with physicist Russell Targ of the books*Miracles of Mind: Exploring Non-local Consciousness and Spiritual Healing* (1998), and *The Heart of the Mind: How to Experience God Without Belief(1999).
Her work has been featured in the book Reinventing Medicine by Larry Dossey, and in Science of Mind, Natural Health, Alternative Therapies in Health & Medicine, Spirituality and Health, and New Dimensions magazines. Dr. Katra did remote viewing research for 10 years with Russell Targ, who co-founded the Stanford Research Institute psychic research program for US defense departments. Katra participated in research at the Institute of Noetic Sciences influencing the path of moving photons, at the Windbridge Institute in Tucson, Arizona testing the accuracy of mediums' readings, at The Rhine Research Center in Durham, N.C. measuring affects of healers on photon and infrared radiation, and with Dr. John E. Mack formulating educational programs on the spiritually transforming effects of near-death experiences, non-local healing, and after death communications.

Dr. Jane Katra holds a Ph.D. in Public Health from the University of Oregon where she taught in the 1980's.Dr. Katra has also practiced as a spiritual healer for 36 years, after receiving instructions in a near-death experience.
She is listed in Marquis' Who's Who of American Women, and is the author with physicist Russell Targ of the books*Miracles of Mind: Exploring Non-local Consciousness and Spiritual Healing* (1998), and *The Heart of the Mind: How to Experience God Without Belief(1999).
Her work has been featured in the book Reinventing Medicine by Larry Dossey, and in Science of Mind, Natural Health, Alternative Therapies in Health & Medicine, Spirituality and Health, and New Dimensions magazines.
