Dozens of California towns have leaf blower restrictions and its time we stopped these toxic polluters.
I chalenge anyone to go to the website and watch the 70 second video of a city worker sending toxins into the air of Brookhaven park (which adjoins schools with 600 children) at 200 mph, to stay there for three stays, and then read the shocking (and footnoted) scientific data on leaf blowers, and then defend this activity as an inalienable "right."
We have a no-spam online petition for our city council, which is meeting to hear this issue on Tuesday, March 1 at 7 pm in the Sebastopol Youth Annex. You need not live in Sebastopol to sign this.
