Senate Republicans recently introduced a “Resolution of Disapproval” under the Congressional Review Act.
If passed, the resolution would give phone and cable companies absolute power over the Internet. It would strip the Federal Communications Commission of its authority to protect our right to free speech online, leaving Internet users open to corporate abuses.Protecting free speech on the Internet is too important to leave to the phone and cable companies themselves.
Please stand with the more than two million Americans who have called on Congress to defend our right to free speech online and vote against the Resolution of Disapproval. Our Internet freedom depends on it.
