Thanks to all who helped make Saturday's workshop a positive, productive community meeting: participants (106 people signed in), the consultant team, volunteer facilitators, Mayor Gurney and other City Council members, and City staff.
A joint meeting of the City Council, Planning Commission and Design Review Board to receive an update on the process to date and provide their comments and ideas, will be on May 23 at 7 p.m. at the Youth Annex. This is a opportunity for Council, Commmission, and Board members to offer their thoughts, rather than a public hearing (although the public is welcome to attend to hear the discussion).
On June 22, at 7 p.m. at the Veteran's building on High Street, there will be a community meeting where the consultants will present their summary of key issues and community consensus, for community feedback. This meeting, along with background studies and prior meetings in the process, will help set direction for the draft Specific Plan.
