About a month ago bunch of musicians got together and played a "rent party" for Casa Manana at the Sleeping Lady in Fairfax. I attended and the place was packed! Not only was this a great community event, but it was an awesome show with lots of people dancing!
I'm delighted to see that that band is going to play again, this time with another band, The Open Quartet, which came about from a benefit for the Open Classroom out in the Valley (www.lagunitasopenclassroom<wbr>.com (https://www.lagunitasopenclassroom.com/)).
Come check out these two great bands, both formed by their support of community projects, play some damn fine music just for the fun of it!
