On Monday, Senator Barrasso from Wyoming and Senator Rockefeller from West Virginia both introduced separate pieces of legislation that would keep the EPA from protecting public health and would allow big polluters to run roughshod over the environment. Later today, House Energy and Commerce Chair Fred Upton from Michigan and Senate Environment and Public Works Ranking Member Jim Inhofe from Oklahoma are expected to unveil similar legislation. Both are spouting bogus claims about the EPA to push their bills forward. We urgently need to meet our 2011 membership goal .
