Hi

i have spent hours of my time attempting to un-subscribe to e-mail notification Daily Digests -- including attempts to follow the instructions outlined by Barry for how to un-subscribe to individual categories -- and my friend's attempts to instruct me also. All of which have not worked.

I now wish to close out my account with this site so i don't receive any more of these digests. And i am unable to find out how to close out this account either. I suppose i will also have to close out my personal e-mail account just to get out of this loop.

Can someone help me please close out this account so it is "dead" and i no longer receive digests? Thank you.

You can unsubscribe from the digest here (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/profile.php?do=editglobalsubscription). Just click the No Email for all Categories button.

At the moment we don't support removing your account but we will do it for you if you still wish to.

Thank you Barry

i'm pretty certain i did try that little click b4 but what matters is that this time it actually worked and i am no longer receiving those digests in my personal e-mail account.

as to not supporting removing my account, i am noticing that distressing trend with respect to other sites as well. It's as if once i've signed-up, i'm barred from canceling my contract - or changing my mind. I'm virtually trapped in a virtual reality trap and there's no way out? As Julie Bergdorf would say, "Eeeeew!"

ok - thank you again - over & out
