About Us <table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="2"> <tbody><tr> <td>Renew Computers, founded in 1988, is the largest independent electronics recycling company in Marin County, California. We have a warehouse facility and service center centrally located near downtown San Rafael where computers are collected, sorted, and properly recycled. Computers are received on a daily basis from individuals, small businesses, and large corporations. Fortunately, much of what we receive is ofhttps://www.renewcomputers.com/images/newrenewfrontpage.JPG high quality. This allows us to reuse a product that would otherwise go to landfill or be scrapped. We have a staff of qualified technicians that work hard to bring these computers back to a reuseable state where they can then be recycled back to the community as reliable working systems. In 2009 Renew Computers reused or recycled more than 630,000 pounds of electronic waste.
In addition to our recycling center, we operate a discount parts warehouse, retail store, and service department. For corporate clients we provide asset removal, data security services, warehousing and shipping services. We are an authorized e-waste collector in the State of California. Certified and audited by the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) annually. Cert# 100888. We do not export e-waste to third world countries.
