I am very active with pomeranian rescue. I have recently gone online to post some rescues to the e-bay classifieds. I was very dismayed to see so many pit bulls posted for sale. I think they can be very nice dogs but it is hard to tell if you don't know about dogs and about those particular dogs' parents or pedigree/breeding. It is sad to hear so many stories about the bully breeds.
However, my love is pomeranians!!! To me they are the perfect dogs! They are small, fluffy, smart and eager to please! I love doing rescue because I feel I am making a contribution to the animals who have no say in what happens to them. Our group is always looking for those caring people who can open their homes for a time and foster a pom or two until they are adopted into a permanent home. It's a very rewarding experience if you are mature enough to let go and allow someone else the joy of loving that little dog you've cared for and nutured!!!
