Loading the pages

hello could you please tell me why it takes so long on my mac to load the new site and its pages?

I have 10.4.1 system and mac g4. it take about a minute each time I click to view a a new topic area. this does not happpen anywhere else on the internet.

Anybody else having this problem? Are you on a high speed connection? If you switch the old interface by selecting Temporary from the control on the very bottom left of the page does that make it go faster?

I do know that opening up the digest email does take a bit of time, but that's because it's so big!

Yes, I have been having the same problem; it started right after I had Mark (MarkoftheMac) install some upgrades on my Mac (10.5) a couple of weeks ago. I'm taking it to him tomorrow, to see whether he can un-upgrade some of the stuff that I don't really use. Maybe that will solve it. I do not have high-speed; just Wildblue's slowest (cheapest).
