Dear One,

* Do you want to play more in life?
* Do you want to be available for the divine table that is always being prepared just for us?

On Sunday, November 14th, Rev. Kathleen Geier will speak on the topic, "God's PLAYground." Rev. Kathleen is a Bay Area minister who has a ministry without walls. She delights in inspiring people to live and give the joy that is theirs to give. She, herself, shares a great deal of wisdom through our Minister's Listserve about the divine messages that are all around us. Here is a recent one:

The Gospel According to Starbucks - Living with a Grande Passion, Leonard Sweet (This book has not been authorized by Starbucks Coffee Company)
Brewed for Thought - The Gospel According to Starbucks - introduces the life you'd gladly stand in line for......you don't stand in line at Starbucks just to buy a cup of coffee. You stop for the experience surrounding the cup of coffee.....
Too many of us line up for God out of duty or guilt. We completely miss the warmth and richness of the experience of living with God. If we'd learn to see what God is doing on earth, we could participate fully in the irresistible life that he offers.
You can learn to pay attention like never before, to identify where God is already in business right in your neighborhood. The doors are open and the coffee is brewing. God is serving the refreshing antidote to the unsatisfying, arms length spiritual life - and he won't even make you stand in line.
Leonard Sweet shows you how the passion that Starbucks has for creating an irresistible experience can connect you with God's stirring introduction to the experience of faith
Questions for Conversation with yourself and others by Edward Hammett -
The Brew of the Soul - Questions to stir the BREW, an acronym that stands for Being Real Engages the World.
Rev. Kathleen is one of the dear American folks who traveled to Ukraine for one of Rev. Barbara's Ukrainian Conferences. Anyone who has also been to Ukraine, come and make this a Ukrainian Reunion Sunday!
Our music will be our favorite duo, Setchko and Meese. These wonderful musicians always fill the space with their wonderful harmonies and loving presence.
This is a reminder about the munchies after the services; this Sunday the people with S, T, and U in their names are asked to bring some food to share. You don't have to wait for your letter; anyone can bring food to share. So, thank you in advance! The following week will be the turn of the V, W, X, Y and Z folks.

The Youth and Family Ministry is offering Affirmation Blankets for holiday purchase. It is wonderful to wrap yourself or someone you love in these life-enhancing messages, so be prepared for some shopping this Sunday.

The following week on November 21st I will speak on the topic, "The Power of Gratitude", to set us up for a fabulous Thanksgiving Holiday.
