It may be of fleeting interest to some of you on my list that the "point man" in the assault on Prop 23 is none other then George P. Shultz, luminary of the CFR, Knights of Malta, Bechtel, Gilead, and of course, the friendly Bohemian Grove. Incidentally The "P" in George P. Shultz stands for "Pratt," of Standard Oil fame, which I hope puts to rest any illusion you may have, thanks to their propaganda, that "Big Oil" is "backing" Prop 23. In reality, Big Oil will profit from Prop 23's defeat by eliminating their smaller competition. Just as Wal-Mart drove out so many local businesses in this country, because they could afford to undersell them. It's the exact genre of predatory capitalism that John D. Rockefeller made famous.
Here's a very brief history of George P. Shultz' assault on the U.S. economy:
1971: Shultz was instrumental in de-linking the dollar from gold, the first step in the slow, planned destruction of the economy.
1976: Shultz and Paul Volcker promote the CFR's "1980s Project" which expressly includes "controlled disintegration" of the world economy (a direct quote).

A leopard doesn't change his spots, nor does Shultz. The true agenda of AB32, and the assault on Prop 23, is--like Shultz' previous endeavors-- to undermine our economy. They always coat these things with all kinds of beautiful window dressing. "Green jobs," etc. Economic hit men are masters of deception.

Averell Harriman (with Djugashvili aka Stalin). <small>Incidentally, Djugashvili was a Georgian who hated and terrorized Russians, and killed 32 million of them. "Bechtel is right up there with Halliburton in grabbing the lion’s share of Pentagon sweetheart contracts to rebuild Iraq. Most certainly it did not hurt Bechtel’s business that Shultz and Rumsfeld knew each other from their common days on the board of Gilead.
"The Gilead Sciences board also includes Gordon Moore of Intel, and Viscount Etienne Davignon, the Belgian Count who seems to be involved in everything big and Atlanticist, whether it be Bilderberg meetings or Trilateral Commissions, and now, profiting from the Bird Flu panic."
