Hi North Bay Celiacs members,
The Sonoma County support group will meet on Sunday, November 14th, from 2:00-4:00 PM in Conference Room D at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
Our guest will be Kaiser Pediatric Dietitian Gail Prosser. We will focus on the nutritional aspects of malabsorption with and without symptoms and practical things like meal planning and shopping. Much of the talk will be question and answer format so bring your nutrition questions (both pediatric and adult)!
Gail Prosser, RD, CDE, has been a Registered Dietitian with Kaiser Pediatrics since 2004. She has been practicing in the field (hospital, private practice or M.D. offices) for 20 years. Gail specializes in pediatric nutrition, eating disorders and diabetes. In 2007 she presented an Advanced Celiac Update to the Redwood Empire Dietitians Group at Memorial Hospital.
If you'd like to attend this talk, please reply to this email and let me know how many will attend. RSVPs are strongly recommended, but not required, as I need to make sure we have adequate seating.
Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital: 1165 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa. Directions. Enter the building by the main hospital entrance, walk down the hall that is to the right of the welcome desk; the conference rooms will be on your left through the doors to the cafeteria.
